Please read these terms carefully before using Konnect. Last updated 1 November 2026.
1. Acceptance of TermsBy accessing or using Konnect, including our website and apps, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. About KonnectKonnect is a marketplace that connects customers with independent service workers. Workers are not employees of Konnect, and each booking is an agreement between the customer and the worker.
3. EligibilityYou must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account.
4. Account ResponsibilityYou are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly about unauthorised use.
5. Bookings and PaymentsAgree the task, time and price with the worker in the app. Payments are made by M-Pesa inside the app after the job is completed. Do not pay or arrange bookings outside the app, as this removes the protection of a recorded transaction.
6. Worker VerificationWorkers submit a National ID and a live selfie and are reviewed before going live. Verification reduces risk but does not guarantee the quality of any individual job; please read reviews and use your judgement.
7. Acceptable UseYou agree to use Konnect only for lawful purposes. You must not impersonate others, submit false information, harass other users, misuse the platform or attempt to bypass its security.
8. Content PolicyReviews, photos, profiles and messages must be honest, respectful and lawful. We may remove content that is abusive, discriminatory, misleading, infringing or harmful, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly breach this policy.
9. Warranty and DisputesEligible bookings are covered by a 5-day warranty. If a completed job is not right, contact support within that window with your booking details and we will help resolve it.
10. PrivacyOur Privacy Policy at privacy.konnectapp.co.ke explains how we collect and use personal information. You can request account deletion at delete.konnectapp.co.ke.
11. Suspension and TerminationWe may suspend or end accounts that breach these Terms or put others at risk. You may stop using Konnect at any time.
12. Limitation of LiabilityTo the extent permitted by law, Konnect is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from services provided by independent workers. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to TermsWe may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
14. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
